This enabled my body and mind to slowly re-balance.
It made my body run on the right fuels, be exposed to the right stimuli, and it provided an environment in which my body could thrive and reach its potential, instead of being subjected to abuse and distress.
Here is a summary of the 10-week program:
- Week 1: Stop anything sexual
- Week 2: Eat healthier, take supplements, stop substance abuse
- Week 3: Exercise better + do Kegel exercises
- Week 4: Stress down and relax more
- Week 5: Try to have sex
- Week 6: Sleep more and better + try to have sex
- Week 7: Get sunshine + try to have sex
- Week 8: Take sexual supplements + try to have sex
- Week 9: Take more sexual supplements + try to have sex
- Week 10: Take even more sexual supplements + try to have sex
Before we get started, there is one thing I have to mention:
I am not a doctor or a health professional, and hence I don’t have a license to give medical or health advice. I am just a regular guy who spent more than a decade figuring out my erectile dysfunction or libido.
Therefore, I have written this program as a step-by-step guide to myself.


The guide explains exactly what I would do to overcome my erectile dysfunctionor libido problems – assuming that I encountered these problems for the firsttime.
And you are more than welcome to learn from my experiences and choose to follow this program.
How long it would take to cure my ED and get my libido back, assuming I faced this for the first time?
It would depend on how severe my conditions were. And it would also depend on how consistent and thorough I would be in applying the program.
But my guess is that it would take somewhere from 3-4 weeks to 3-4 months.
Question:
If I followed this step-by-step plan diligently, and I successfully curedmy erectile dysfunction and got my libido back..
..would I then stop this program and revert back to my old life?
Not if I wanted to continue to function well sexually.
In order to permanently cure my erectile dysfunction, I would want to maintainthese healthy principles. I would make it a lifestyle change.
By living this way, I would continue to provide my body with a healthyenvironment that would give it a chance to function optimally.
Today, I maintain all these principles every day, and I have done this for several years.
And during this period, my ED has consistently been gone and my libido has been strong.
However, one thing I have learned from this decade-long process, is that I would probably only see great results if I were diligent and devoted.


If I were not diligent and devoted, but rather took a lazy approach with shortcuts, there is a high probability that the results would be disappointing.
Shall we get started..?
Week 1
During the first week I would do the following:
- Stop watching porn
- Stop masturbating
- Stop having sex
- Stop anything sexual
If a man exposes himself to too frequent sexual stimulation, his brain will normally be overloaded with dopamine and other ‘feel good’ chemicals.
As a result the dopamine reward system in the brain becomes fatigued and numbed.
When there is too much dopamine floating around in the brain, the dopamine receptors will normally become exhausted and start working slower.
After persistent dopamine overload, some of these dopamine receptors might even stop working.
If I were over-exposing myself to sexual stimulation, I could by stoppinganything sexual, give my body and mind a chance to rebuild desire for sex and to regain the ability to function normally.
If dopamine receptors in my brain had gotten numbed or stopped working, it would start the process of slowly giving life back to these receptors, so that they could again start processing dopamine they way they should.
This abstinence should get my reward system back in balance.
When this was achieved, only a normal amount of sexual stimulation should be needed to get and keep erections.


However, I would be very, very disciplined about this abstinence. If I started having urges to have sex or masturbate, I would not give in.
The fact that these urges might appear would in fact be a good sign – it would mean that I was about to start regaining healthy sexual function.
However, I would wait having sex for a while longer.
Week 2
During the second week I would do the following:
- Continue the actions from week 1
- Eat healthier
- Try to cure nutritional deficiencies with supplements
- Quit smoking
- Quit drugs
- Quit alcohol (or only drink modestly)
I would in this week, week 2, maintain the principles from week 1 (stop anything sexual). I would do this in order to give these principles a chance to have a large impact.
This 10-week step-by-step plan is a cumulative program where I would add new positive changes throughout the program, and at the same time, maintainall the changes from earlier weeks.
You are what you eat.
We are all composed of the foods and drinks we have put in our bodies.
Our skin, our eyes, our teeth and all other parts of our bodies – have been created and maintained by what we have ingested.
If we eat unhealthy foods, is there any wonder our bodies are poorlymaintained and built?


Therefore, should I happen to experience erectile dysfunction and libidoproblems today for the first time, I would ensure that I provided my body with allthe nutrients it needs.
This would mean eating more vegetables (particularly raw vegetables), morefruit, more nuts and seeds, more mushrooms, more fish, less meat, lessprocessed food, less dairy, less sugar, less bad fat and less salt.
However, it may be difficult to at all times provide the body with all the nutrients it needs through foods.
Therefore, I would also take a very good multivitamin / mineral formula, I would take fish oil (unless I ate fish 3 times a week), vitamin B12 (if I ate little meat or dairy), and I would take an additional vitamin D supplement (if I got little sunshine).
In addition, I would during times of lots of exercise, also take a zinc and magnesium supplement.
If I were doing drugs, were smoking, or drinking excessively, I would quit this immediately.
Smoking, drugs and alcohol can cause all kinds of damages to the body, including reduced bloodflow, heart damage, increased cortisol levels, and lower production of nitric oxide and testosterone.
Any of these can have a negative effect on libido and and the ability to get and maintain erections.
By providing my body with the nutrients it needs, and also by removingelements that are harmful to it, I would create a nutritional environment in my body that would allow my body to flourish and reach its potential, instead of having it run up against ‘the wall’.
It would now have the right building blocks for maintenance and growth, and the proper fuel to run well.


Week 3
During the third week I would do the following:
- Continue the actions from week 1 and 2
- Exercise more and better (2 hours a day)
- Do Kegel exercises
The actions described in week 1 and week 2, would be very important for re-balancing my body and overcoming erectile dysfunction and libido problems. But I wouldn’t just do these actions for one or two weeks.
This is a cumulative program where I would keep stacking healthy principles on top of each other, one after the other. Therefore, I would continue the actions from week 1 and 2, in this week.
A sedentary lifestyle over time will often lead to problems with the cardiovascular system, which again is likely to cause disruptions to bloodflow.
And anything that restricts bloodflow can, in the long-term, cause or contribute to erectile dysfunction.
Therefore, if I were to encounter erectile dysfunction and libido problems for the first time today, I would want to exercise more and better.
I would want to exercise for at least two hours every day. Yes, two hours everyday.
I would want about half of this to be moderate to intense forms of exercise, such as playing tennis, football, basketball, cycling, running, working out at the gym, etc.
And I would want about half of my exercise to be walking, because walking is super healthy.
In other words, I would want to do one hour of moderate to intense exercise, and one hour of walking, every day.


Exercise trains the body, gets it fitter, stronger, in balance, clears veins of waste and plaque build-up, strengthens the cardiovascular system, increasesbloodflow, repairs capillaries and veins and generally enables the body (and the mind) to function well.
Exercise will also normally increase the baseline testosterone level, keep cortisol levels in check, increase the body’s capacity to produce nitric oxide, as well as ensure that the composition of the elements in the blood (glucose, cortisol, tryglycerides, etc.) is healthy.
In addition to regular exercise. I would also exercise the muscles in the penis. These muscles can, if well trained, support stronger and longer-lasting erections.
These muscles are called the pelvic floor muscles and are essential for functioning well sexually. The exercise of these pelvic floor muscles is often called Kegel exercises.
I would do 10 hard squeezes for about 2 seconds each, rest for a minute, do 10more, rest for a minute and do 10 more. I would do this every day, and it should take no more than about three minutes to complete.
Doing these Kegel exercises should normally help increase the overall fitnessand function of the penis, particularly if the pelvic floor muscles were weak.
This should make it easier to get erections, and should help reduce erectile dysfunction.
Week 4
During the fourth week I would do the following:
- Continue the actions from week 1 to week 3
- Stress less
- Relax and slow down a little


As for the other sections, if I were to experience erectile dysfunction and libidoproblems for the first time today, I would also in this week continue the principles I took on from the earlier weeks.
This is important because this is a cumulative program.
Elevated levels of stress over long periods of time have three main damaging effect on a man’s ability to function sexually.
- It ‘hijacks’ the mind and leaves less room for sexual thoughts.
- It causes the body to produce large amounts of cortisol. This hormonenormally causes levels of testosterone to decrease.
- It diverts energy to the parts of the body and mind that are useful for dealing with the stressful situation (such as more energy to large muscles, better vision, better hearing, etc.), but also divert energy and attention away from functions that are not useful for the stressful situation, such as the reproductive system and the immune system.
Therefore, a man who experiences large periods of elevated stress is much more likely to face erectile dysfunction and libido problems.
If I were to encounter erectile dysfunction and libido problems for the first time today, I would try very hard to stress down in situations that would normally cause me to stress.
I would make a very conscious effort to not stress in times of pressure, but rather try to remain calm. Although stress can sometimes be useful, it is normally not helpful when I need to multi-task or when I need to work through several tasks efficiently.
I would also consider picking up meditation or other relaxing techniques to try to get more relaxed and balanced overall.
This should normally improve my libido and make my erectile dysfunction lessprevalent.


Week 5
During the fifth week I would do the following:
- Continue the actions from week 1 to week 4 (except for abstaining from sex)
- Try to have sex once, but not to the point of orgasm
As for the other sections, I would also in this week continue the principles from the earlier weeks. This is a cumulative program, and therefore keeping up these actions would be of uttermost importance to overcome my problems.
If I had followed the program diligently, it would by now have been a monthsince I had sex or did anything sexual.
This should have improved my erectile functioning and increased mylibido.
Which means that my body should have already started to slowly re-balance, and I should now be more receptive to sexual stimulation then before.
There is a chance that by now, after implementing the actions from the 4 weeks of the step-by-step plan, my body would be ready for sex.
There would really only be one way to find out, and that would be to try to have sex.
So that is what I would do. I would in this week try to have sex once, but only once.
I would be very straight-to-the-point about the sex. I would not engage in much foreplay – just enough to get a solid erection, and then proceed to intercourse.
I would do this in order to ‘take advantage’ of the initial strong erection. This erection is normally super firm, and I would also want to avoid losing this first erection and then having to ‘re-get’ an erection, as this can sometimes be difficult.


If this sex was successful, I might have already re-balanced my body and mind sufficiently to overcome my erectile dysfunction and libido problems.
In other words, I could have by now cured my own erectile dysfunction and I could have restored my libido.
If sex was indeed successful, I could now stop further progress of the program if I wanted to.
If I now simply continued the actions from week 1-4 only, this might be enough for me to permanently overcome my sexual problems.
However, I would not have an orgasm. This is very important. If I did, I would in all likelihood lose a significant amount of the libido I had built up over these four weeks.
Therefore, in order to keep myself as highly sexually charged as possible, I would refrain from having an orgasm.
And in order to constantly remain highly charged sexually (keep a very strong libido) going forward, I would also limit the frequency of my orgasm to once every 4-6 weeks.
However, If I were not able to have fully satisfying sex this time, I would still continue the program.
After all, I would only be 5 weeks into the step-by-step program, and there would still be many more changes to make and much more time for adjusting my body and mind.
If sex was not successful, but I saw improvements, such as getting an erectionwhile having sex but then losing it, or having a stronger libido, I would be encouraged.
If there was no progress at all, I would still be patient. My condition might be severe, and as a result my systems might just be slow to respond.


Week 6
During the sixth week I would do the following:
- Continue the actions from earlier weeks (except for abstaining from sex)
- Sleep more and better
- Try to have sex once, but not to the point of orgasm
As for the other sections, I would also in this week continue the principles from the earlier weeks.
Because it would not make much sense to eat healthy (for instance) for only one week, and then discard these principles.
Sleep is essential in order to function well, not just sexually, but in any context.
With inadequate sleep, we get slow, sloppy, our systems don’t work well and our bodies and minds start to fail. In fact, taken to the extreme, lack of sleep will cause death.
However, what is perhaps even more interesting about sleep, is that we produce testosterone while we sleep.
So if a person only gets 4 hours of sleep while he needs 8 hours to be fully recharged, he only produces about half of the testosterone he otherwise would have produced.
Therefore, if a man consistently gets inadequate sleep, he is very likely to be testosterone deficient.
During this sixth week, I would therefore try to ensure that I slept well. The key would be to try to sleep enough. For me that is somewhere between 7 and 8hours.
In other words, I would try very hard to get my 7-8 hours of sleep every night.
If sex was not fully satisfactory last week, I would again try to have sex once during this week.


I would also this time be very straight-to-the-point about the sex. I would not engage in much foreplay – just enough to get a firm erection, and then proceed to intercourse.
Was I able to have sex successfully this week? If yes, then great!
If so, I should then simply by consistently maintaining the principles from week 1-6, be able to continue to function well sexually, and therefore have cured my ED.
In other words, simply by diligently maintaining these principles, I should be able to permanently overcome erectile dysfunction.
I could then stop further progress of this program.
However, I would not have sex to the point of orgasm. If I did have an orgasm, I would in all likelihood lose a significant amount of the libido I had built up over these weeks. I would rather keep my libido very high.
If sex was not successful, I would still take note of any improvements I noticed. Was I able to get an erection while having sex, but lost my erectionafter initiating sex? Did I have stronger morning erections?
If I were not able to have satisfactory sex this time, I would still not give up. I would only be in week 6 of the 10-week program, and there would still be many more changes to make, and also, my body may just still need more time to adjust.
Week 7
During the seventh week I would do the following:
- Continue the actions from earlier weeks (except for not having sex)
- If possible, get direct sun exposure
- If not, take a vitamin D3 supplement
- Try to have sex once, but not to the point of orgasm


As for the other sections, I would also in this week continue the actions I would have taken on from the earlier weeks. I would do this because this is a cumulative program.
Large parts of the population on planet earth are vitamin D3 deficient, because they do not get enough sun.
The body can produce vitamin D3, but it needs help from the sun. When UVB sunrays hits the skin, it enables the skin to produce vitamin D3.
We can get some vitamin D3 from foods, but it is almost impossible to get enough of this vitamin from foods, particularly in the long run. The rest has to come from the sun (or vitamin D3 supplements).
Vitamin D3 is important for sexual functions because it is a building block of testosterone.
Therefore if the body is deficient in vitamin D3, testosterone production will also normally suffer.
I would therefore during this seventh week try to get approximately 30 minutes of direct sun exposure every day, on average.
I would also want to get this sunshine on large parts of my body (upper body, arms, legs, etc.).
If I had not been able to have satisfactory sex in week 5 or 6, I would again try to have sex one more time this week.
I would also this time be very straight-to-the-point about the sex. I would not engage in much foreplay, just enough to get a solid erection and then proceed to sex.
If I was able to have sex successfully this week, then I should presumably have cured my own erectile dysfunction and potentially my libido problems.
I should then, just by diligently maintaining the principles in week 1-7 going forward, be able to solve my erectile dysfunction for good.


If sex was indeed successful, I could now stop further progress of the program.
By now, one out of three things would have happened:
- I had cured my erectile dysfunction and libido problems
- I had not cured my problems, but seen improvements
- I had not cured my problems, and seen no improvements
Ideally, I would have cured my ED and libido problems.
If not, hopefully I would have seen improvement such as firmer and more frequent erections.
However, even if I had not yet overcome my problems or seen progress, I would still continue the step-by-step plan.
There would still be a few weeks left of the program with new changes and more time to help regain sexual functions.
Week 8
During the eighth week I would do the following:
- Continue the actions from earlier weeks (except for abstaining from sex)
- Try to have sex once, but not to the point of orgasm
- 60-90 minutes before having sex, take the following supplements:
- L-citrulline (7 grams)
- Pine bark (7 grams)
- ZMA (0.75 grams)
- Tribulus Terrestris (7 grams)
As in all the other weeks, I would also in this week continue the principles I would have taken on from the earlier weeks, except for abstaining from sex.
In addition to maintaining the principles from the earlier weeks, I would in this week take four supplements directly aimed at improving sexual functions.
The combination of these supplements can be quite powerful, as it increases production of testosterone, nitric oxide and dopamine.


The reason for taking L-citrulline would be in order to increase my nitric oxidelevels.
Nitric oxide is a molecule that is essential in order to get an erection. It is diffused into the smooth muscles of the penis, which enables these muscles (which are in contraction) to relax. When they relax, blood is allowed to flow into the penis.
I would take 7 grams (approximately a half-topped tablespoon) of L-citrulline in powder form, mixed with water.

I should then presumably, simply by maintaining the principles from week 1-8 going forward, be able to consistently function well sexually.
If I was still not able to have satisfactory sex in this week, I would not give up, but continue the program.
My body might still need more time to adjust, and there is also a chance that the new supplement I would try next week could help.
Even if sex was still not successful, I would take note of any progress and improvements I experienced.


For instance, if I had more frequent spontaneous erections, or if I had a stronger sex drive, this would be progress and positive signs. This would indicate that my body was responding favorably.
You may wonder if it would be safe to take supplements in these dozes? With 7 grams of several of the supplements, I would take more than 20 grams of supplements in total. Is this safe?
The answer is that I don’t know.
I don’t know whether these amounts could cause health complications, nor do I know whether taking these supplements in high dozes over time could cause long-term problems.
What I do know, is that during the 3-4 years I have taken these supplements in high dozes, I have never (to my knowledge) had any side-effects or any complications or problems.
Week 9
During the ninth week I would do the following:
- Continue the principles from earlier weeks (except for abstaining from sex)
- Try to have sex once, but not to the point of orgasm
- 60-90 minutes before having sex, take the following supplements:
- L-citrulline (7 grams)
- Pine bark (7 grams)
- ZMA (0.75 grams)
- Tribulus Terrestris (7 grams)
- Mucuna Pruriens (7 grams)
As for all other weeks, I would also in this week continue the principles I would have taken on from the earlier weeks, except for not having sex.
In addition to the four supplements directly aimed at improving sexual functions I took last week, I would in this week add another very interesting one: Mucuna Pruriens.


I would take Mucuna Pruriens to further increase testosterone production, 2) increase dopamine levels, and 3) reduce prolactin levels.

If I was able to have sex successfully this week, then I might have found a cure to my own erectile dysfunction.
I should then presumably, simply by maintaining the principles from week 1-9, be able to consistently function well sexually.
If I was still not able to have satisfactory sex in this week, I would not give up, but continue the program.
There is a chance that my body still needed more time to adjust, and there is also a chance that the new supplement I would try next week could help me.


Even if sex was still not successful, I would write down any progress I had had.
For instance if I had more frequent spontaneous erections, or if I had a stronger sex drive, this would be positive signs indicating that my body was responding positively to the changes I had made.

I simply don’t know.

Tongkat Ali improves sexual function in two main ways: 1) By increasing testosterone production, and 2) reducing free calcium levels.

I would now be in the last week of the program, and hopefully my body would now be ready for sex.
The only way to find out would be to try to have sex. I would therefore also in this week try to have sex once.
I would also this time be very straight-to-the-point about the sex. I would not do more foreplay than necessary, and proceed to intercourse as soon as I had a firm erection.
However, I would not have sex to the point where I would get an orgasm. I would wait having an orgasm to build up my libido instead of draining it.
If I was able to have sex successfully in this week, I might then finally have found a cure to my own erectile dysfunction.


I should then presumably, simply by maintaining the principles from week 1-10 going forward, be able to consistently function well sexually.
By taking 7 grams of several of the supplements, I would take more than 30 grams of supplements in total. Is this safe?
The answer is that I don’t know.
I don’t know whether these amounts could cause health complications, nor do I know whether taking these supplements in high dozes over time could cause long-term problems.
What I do know, is that during the 3-4 years I have taken these supplements in high dozes, I have never (to my knowledge) had any side-effects or any complications or problems.
If I was still not able to have satisfactory sex in this week, what would I do?
If there was no progress, I would probably stop. I would conclude that my erectile dysfunction and libido problems were probably not related to my lifestyle.
This is assuming that I had been diligent with the program, and that I had followed it step-by-step.
However, if there had been decent progress and I had seen positive signs, I would consider giving the program 5 more weeks.
If I were to continue for another 5 weeks, I would in these 5 weeks continue all actions from week 1-10. And I would be super diligent.
In each of these 5 weeks, I would try to have sex once, but only once. If I was able to have successful sex during one of these weeks, I might have finally overcome my erectile dysfunction and libido problems.
If that were the case, and then in order to continue to function well sexually, I would maintain all the principles from week 1-10.


If I Wasn’t Able To Cure My ED, Then What?
If I went through this program diligently and faithfully, but I was not able to regain sexual functions, what would I do? Would all hope for having good sex be gone?
No, all hope would not be gone. There would still be options for having good sex.
Yes, it would be unfortunate that I would not be able to fix my erectile dysfunction and libido by natural means, but there would still be ways in which I could enjoy sex, and have a good sex-life.
One option would be pharmaceutical drugs like Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
If I had gone through the 10-week step-by-step program diligently, and I had not been able to again function sexually, I would feel less bad about taking these pharmaceutical drugs. Because they would probably be the next logicalsolution.
A relatively new treatment that has shown promising results, is shockwavetherapy. It is possible that this in the future can be a reliable treatment for erectile dysfunction.
Another relatively new treatment are gels. One would apply these gels to the penis, which would then trigger an erection. It is also possible that this will become a good option for treating erectile dysfunction.
For severe cases, there is also the option of penis implants and penis pumps, that enable a man to get an erection. This is rather invasive, and many men would probably only consider this as last resort.

If I were to encounter erectile dysfunction and libido problems for the first timetoday (but also having the knowledge I have today), what would I do to overcome these?
I would follow the exact steps in this program.
Would I be able to cure my ED and a bring my libido back in 10 weeks?
If my erectile dysfunction was extremely severe (let’s say I was very overweight, had been a very heavy smoker or was an extreme porn addict), there is good chance that 10 weeks would not be enough.
But as long as my conditions were not extremely severe, I do believe I could overcome my problems in 10 weeks.
The principles you have learned about in this program – the principles that enabled me to overcome erectile dysfunction and get my libido back – are not just principles I have maintained for 10 weeks.


I still maintain all of them today, and I have done this for several years already.
Which means that I don’t watch pornography, I don’t masturbate and I limit the frequency of my orgasms to once every 4-6 weeks.
I eat super healthy every day, I don’t smoke, I don’t do drugs and I don’t drink alcohol. I also take supplements to increase the likelihood that I get all my essential nutrients.
On average, I exercise for 2 hours every day. I play football, tennis, run and do strength exercises for about one hour every day. And I also walk for about onehour a day.
I also do Kegel exercises.
I don’t stress. I have learned to become better at relaxing and stressing down. I also meditate for a few minutes every day.
I get my 7-8 hours of sleep every night, and if I feel very tired during the day, I take a nap.
And I get at least 30 minutes of sunshine every day. In fact, I moved to a sunny part of the world partly to accomplish this.
And I try to live a good life with good friends and keep a nice mental and emotional balance.
With the changes I have made to my life and by maintaining these healthy principles, not only have I overcome erectile dysfunction and gotten my libido back, but the quality of my life has significantly improved.
I have more energy, feel sharper, feel more alive, I am happier and I feel more confident. I simply enjoy living every day.
As you were going through the program, I hope you started seeing improvements bit by bit. Maybe your sex drive increased or maybe you started having rock hard morning erections.


And then I hope you got encouraged.
I hope you believed that this could actually solve your problems and that you could regain your sexual functions by continuing the program.
And then as you got further into the program, I hope you noticed even largerimprovements.
And then in the end, I really hope it worked for you.
I hope you were able to cure your own erectile dysfunction and libido problems. I hope you were again able to have the same sex-life as you did before.
